'The Months' is a cycle of probably 6 paintings of the months or seasons, of which five remain:
1-The Hunters in the Snow (Dec.- Jan.)
2-The Gloomy Day (Feb.- Ma.)
3-The Hay Harvest (June - July)
4-The Harvesters (Aug. -Sept.)
5-The Return of the Herd (Oct. - Nov.)
