Sinopse: Dean Martin, fugindo a seus personagens característicos, faz o papel de um vilão implacável chamado Alex Flood, líder de uma cidade, e aposentado homem da lei. Este vilão aterroriza os cidadãos de Jericho. Flood, que uma vez ajudou a impor a ordem na cidade de Jericho, agora quer colocar suas mãos em todos os negócios da cidade. Ele obteve sucesso até agora, exceto com a companhia de carruagens da forte viúva Molly Lang (Jean Simmons). E ele não tem interesse em tomar conta apenas dos negócios da viúva, mas sim tomar conta da própria Molly Lang. No entanto, chefa a Jericho, Dolan (George Peppard), um ex-delegado federal, que agora dedica seu tempo ao jogo. Rough Night in Jericho (film)

Rough Night in Jericho is a 1967 western film starring George Peppard, Dean Martin, andJean Simmons, and directed by Arnold Laven. The supporting cast includes John McIntire andSlim Pickens. This is the only film where Dean Martin portrayed the villain.

 

Plot

A stagecoach bound for the town of Jericho is held up by a gang led by Alex Flood, a lawman gone bad. The stage's only passenger, a gambler named Dolan, is robbed and the driver, Ben Hickman, is shot.

Hickman and his companion, Molly Lang, own the stage line. Flood wants to seize control of that, as he has so many other properties in the vicinity. While the wounded Hickman recovers from the gunshot, Dolan takes a liking to Molly and decides to help her.

An ex-marshal himself, Dolan begins to create havoc in Flood's empire, stealing his cattle and causing explosions at Flood's ranch and gold mine. Flood comes to Jericho seeking revenge. He shoots Hickman in the back, killing him. Dolan sets out after Flood for a final showdown in the hills.
